Reader's Letter: Open the box

About 12 months ago Royal Mail installed a 'letters only' size post box on Bradford Lane.

However, it has remained blocked off since then. In these days of fiscal constraints, I find it odd Royal Mail should go to the expense of doing this and not allow residents to use it.

The clues are all to see in the photo if you simply look. A warning sign and a street sign have placed in the mini floral meadow, and a sign directing to the Wizard is behind a fence in a coppice. David, if this was done about 12 months ago, then this is a long ongoing April fools' day prank. Don't take up poker - you could lose a small fortune. :)

I live on Bradford Lane and as I don't drive I have to walk past this sealed postbox to the one on School Lane. Although its a pleasant walk occasionally it is a 40 minute round trip
