The roundabout at Beech Road has now been repaired after being damaged by a vehicle driving over it.
Protective posts have also been installed to hopefully prevent similar incidents in the future.
Councillor Craig Browne said "I am pleased to report that the damage recently done to the roundabout has now been repaired and protective posts put in place. I have been pressing CE Highways to put protective posts in since last summer and I am delighted that they have now done so.
"Hopefully this will prevent any further damage and the spring bulbs that were recently planted on the roundabout will be able to thrive."
