A section of Macclesfield Road will be closed overnight to enable Cheshire East Highways to provide new road markings.
The B5087 will be closed from the junction with Chapel Road to the junction with Priory Lane between 7pm and 5am from Thursday, 10th to Saturday 12th November.
The diversion from Alderley Edge is via Congleton Road to Monks' Heath and the A537 Chelford Road to Macclesfield.
Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
