Alderley Edge Medical Practice is holding an official opening ceremony on Wednesday, 28th September, which will be performed by David Mowat.

The Member of Parliament for Warrington South will be joined by guests from the Parish Council, members of the patient participation group, the GP partners and staff as well as people who were involved in the construction and development of the medical practice.

During the evening Dr Vicki Taylor will be shaving her head to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Dr Taylor said "I'm doing this in memory of my patients who have died from cancer, those who are battling it, those in anxious remission and those of us who are yet to be touched by it. I have seen first hand the amazing work done by Macmillan and would like to give something back."

The practice will be open at 6.30pm for drinks, the ceremony will commence at 7pm and there will be a charity cake sale.

If you would like to support Dr Taylor then you can make a donation via the Brave the Shave website.
