This is Alderley Edge: Take a trip as we fly over the village

dronecover

Chris Clarke of Lacey Green, Wilmslow has kindly sent us this video taken above Alderley Edge and the neighbouring area.

This video was shot over a period of a few weeks at various locations around the village using his Phantom drone which can fly for around 25 minutes at a time, so the coverage had to be shot over several days.
Chris said "This video shows the diversity of Alderley Edge, there is a lot more to the village than you might think. From the soon to be demolished 'Yesterdays' to the allotments to local churches, the mill and of course The Edge there are some amazing things to be seen."

Chris added "When flying the drone, I always ensure it is being done within the law and following the 'The dronecode'. I've had some great feedback from people for both the "This is Wilmslow" and "This is Alderley Edge" video so I'm planning to do a few more videos with the theme of 'This is'."

Wow, what fantastic footage of Alderley Edge, lets hope it stays this way and no more massive buildings built.

Excellent pictures Chris, showing the glorious woodlands surrounding us. It also highlights the terrible waste of the Yesterdays site, let us hope that we will soon see something more in keeping with Alderley Edge.
