Alderley Day Nursery in Nether Alderley has gained accreditation under the Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation (MEAB) scheme.

The scheme offers support and guidance to Montessori schools in order to ensure that Montessori provision is of a high quality. The scheme, which includes two visits by MEAB assessors to the setting, also seeks to reassure parents that their Montessori school meets all the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Melanie Hallam, head of the school, said "We are thrilled to have met the accreditation standards for a second time. This, along with our Outstanding OFSTED rating, illustrates to families that our Pre-School education is a compelling alternative to the local mainstream schools."

Alderley Day Nursery is based in Nether Alderley, 2 miles from the centre of Alderley Edge village and caters for up to 60 children between the ages of 0 and 5 years. For more information, contact the team on 01625 860660 or email [email protected].
