Cricket clubs hosts 8th traditional village fete

Thankfully the rain held off for most of the afternoon for the Alderley Edge Village Fete on Sunday, 26th June.

Alderley Edge Cricket Club hosted the traditional event for the 8th year which featured children's rides, musicians and a selection of art and craft stalls.

The ever popular fun dog show, with a variety of categories, returned along with our columnist Vic Barlow who was on hand to work with some of the dogs to demonstrate just how good they can be.

Afternoon tea and cakes were served in the marquee where guests could enjoy live music and dancing. Whilst other refreshments included a Pimms Bar, BBQ and ice cream.
