The Remembrance Day parade marched through Alderley Edge this afternoon to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and civilians in times of war.
Organised by the Alderley Edge British Legion the parade departed from the Festival Hall at 2.30pm and marched along Trafford Road and Chapel Road before proceeding down London Road to the war memorial on Ryleys Lane.
Following the wreath laying ceremony the parade marched back up London Road for the Remembrance Sunday Service which was held at Alderley Edge Methodist Church.
