"One of our member's father has terminal cancer and when we were discussing charities Macmillan was suggested. I've been in touch with Macmillan and they've sent us a fund raising pack. We've told them it won't be a fortune as we don't charge a lot for tickets etc. but they are happy anyway."

The club will open at 7pm on the evening with Ted coming on about 9pm.

Terry added "We are holding the event mainly for club members, family and friends as a social evening and hope to hold about four a year. Up to now the events have been very successful and bring all sections of the club together and also result in new members joining."
