The ticket office at Alderley Edge station is currently closed whilst Northern Rail carry out some improvements.
The work includes fitting new automatic doors and installing a new ticket counter and window which will be DDA compliant.
A spokesperson from Northern Rail said "Whilst we carry out this work the ticket office will be closed. Please buy your tickets on the train.
"Thank you for your patience during this work."
The work is scheduled to be complete by December 1st.
