Individual Restaurants have been granted permission for a number of changes to the former Panacea building which include an extension to the external seating area and the installation of a retractable canopy.
The scheme also includes altering the windows and erecting an extension at the rear of the property to accommodate an area for the staff and additional kitchen storage.
We understand the ground floor will be occupied by Piccolinos restaurant and the new external area will provide seating for 92 customers and a further 32 can be seated around a bar area which will be located on the right hand side.
The external seating area will be largely enclosed, covered with a fixed post canopy construction and heated internally to allow use of the space all year round.
