With the summer holidays coming to an end last week it was a big day for hundreds of little ones across Alderley Edge and Wilmslow, and their parents, as they embarked on a new adventure and experienced their first day at school.
As the new term began little ones set off in their smart new uniforms and shiny shoes to be greeted by their new teachers who were delighted to welcome the enthusiastic and smiling children.
