The team has grown with a few new faces to help manage the increasingly busy periods, including the now famous Eddie the pub pup. His arrival has proved so popular he even has his own twitter account! The young man has been causing quite a stir with the regulars, capturing the hearts of many with his innocent looks...
Events
In addition to the new addition, Eddie and the team are ensuring that the Drum and Monkey stays at the top of the local entertainment place to go list. This Bank Holiday Sunday they are hosting live music and on the 25th September there will be a big coffee morning in aid of MacMillan. There will be plenty of sweet treats for those attending with online booking accessible via their facebook page (drumandmonkeyalderley).
Into the winter months there are plenty of plans in the making, and without revealing too much, some will go off with a bang and others will be very cool indeed! Those interested should keep a track on their new website and Facebook page, both of which have the latest news and menus available. They even have an online booking function for diners looking to reserve a table.
Sports
Finally, and for the sports fans, the team have finished converting the function room into a sports area. It is a great venue where fans can watch football and other main sporting events without disturbing diners.
