Police were called to an incident at Wolverton House on George Street at 6.45pm on Saturday, 27th June.
It was reported that a male and female were causing a disturbance. Both were arrested and have subsequently been charged to appear at court.
A 30-year-old female has been charged with two assaults, one of which was against a police officer, and also for resisting arrest.
A 31-year-old male has been also charged with three offences: resisting arrest, breach of court bail and assault.
