Plans to extend and refurbish Bank Chambers approved

A firm of independent financial advisors have been granted permission to demolish part of the rear of Bank Chambers and build an extension to the first and second floors, over the flat roof at the back of building.

Clarion Wealth Management also plans to erect a terrace over the existing car park area at the rear of 52 London Road.

The extension will create larger open office areas for the company which intends to relocate to Alderley Edge from their current offices in Knutsford.

Clarion Wealth Management were granted a change of use for 52A and 52B London Road, which are located above and below NatWest Bank, to create an office for financial and profession services (class A2) in May 2014. This part of the property had previously been used as a first floor office and a two bedroomed flat.

They have also been granted permission for two internally illuminated fascias signs, one internally illuminated projecting sign and two additional signs.
