Brookview residents have a real hoot

Residents of Brookview Nursing and Residenital Centre on Brook Lane had a real hoot on Friday, 20th March, when The Feathery Folk brought along various owls and birds of prey for a handling and flying demonstration.

Then on Thursday, 26th March, pupils from Alderley Edge School For Girls visited the care home to share the fun of newly hatched chicks with the residents.

Home Manager Maureen Southern said "The "Living Eggs" project has been an amazing experience. From the very first day the eggs were delivered up to the chicks hatching and growing each day, there has been a buzz of excitement and anticipation from residents and staff alike. It was lovely to welcome children from Alderley Edge School For Girls to share the experience which unites all ages."
