The 2014 East Cheshire Hospice Christmas Tree Collection was another huge success.

Over the weekend of January 10th and 11th the team of volunteers collected over 6,100 trees.

So far this year's collection has raised over £64,500. However, final figures will not be known for a few more weeks until sponsorship, late payers, the recycling grant and gift aid have all been collected.

This will take the total donated to the Hospice by supporters of the Christmas Tree Collection to over £500,000, since 2001.

Last year's Christmas Tree Collection for East Cheshire Hospice raised over £71,150 to help meet its fundraising need of £6,000 per day for running costs. This broke the previous record of £68,500.
