Award-winning independent ladieswear boutique Black White Denim is helping other fashion businesses raise their profile across the region by hosting a sequence of pop-up shops through the coming months
Sacculos, a recently launched e-tail store selling sought after designer handbags, from brands around the world, is the first to experience retail life in the Wilmslow boutiques first floor studio.
Debbie Heywood, the founder of Sacculos has quickly settled in to her showroom with sales of Stella McCartney, Mulberry, Meli Melo and Marc By Marc Jacobs bags and purses coming thick and fast.
As well as a to-die-for collection of bags in her showroom, Debbie also allows customers to pay over 3 equal installments making access to luxury goods a key part of her service.
Jo Davies, owner of BWD thinks the initiative is something more small businesses should do to help and support each other. "We are now in to our 5th year of trading in Wilmslow and have lived through the rollercoaster ride that is setting up your own business. I wish I had had the chance to stick my toe in the water of high street retail and had had the benefit of someone guiding me along the way.
"Debbie's business is a perfect fit with ours as our shoppers look for quality, value and style for a wardrobe that work for their lifestyle. I think we all love (and deserve!) a new bag every now and then and Debbie's wonderful edit and payment plan option makes buying a beautiful bag a wonderful experience."
Debbie says "Since the business was launched last year we've had amazing feedback from both the on line sales and most recently BWD customers regarding our unique three payment model we call "Access To Luxury".
"We are now in our third month as a pop up at BWD and I have to say the whole experience has been an absolute delight. Jo and the girls have made me feel part of the team from day one, and the knowledge they have in the retail world they have openly shared, which for me as a new business owner has been invaluable. A key benefit of working in the boutique is that I am actually getting to meet my customers face to face, and build great relationships. We are going to be at BWD until mid November, but I am already in discussion with Jo as to when Sacculos will pop up next at BWD!"
