On Sunday, 4th October, St Philips and St James held the annual Animal Blessing Service. This marks Animal Welfare Sunday.
Dogs big and small came and also one very brave cat called Joey. Luckily the dogs were too interested in sniffing to notice him.
All the animals were blessed by Rev. Jane Parry and Carole Walker gave a special message from her cat Sandy , who sadly could not be there.
