Gang of armed robbers raid The Bubble Room

As the last two members of staff left The Bubble Room at about 2.15am on Friday April 3rd they were confronted by a masked gang. The four robbers armed with a machete and axe forced the two workers back in to the restaurant then made off in one of the worker’s cars with cash (reported to be a four figure sum) and some personal possessions. The car was later found in Bramhall and although badly shaken the two members of staff were thankfully uninjured. The gang of four, all wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, are described as having mancunian accents. Police are appealing for witnesses. According to the Parish Council, CCTV is due to be on installed on London Road, and they are appealing for donations from local business to enable the coverage can be extended. CCTV is considered a proven deterrent to crime and antisocial behaviour so would this have happened if we had CCTV on Alderley Edge High Street?
