Orbit Developments, part of The Emerson Group, has been granted planning permission again to construct a single car parking deck on land to the rear of Queens Court, Alderley Road.
The planning application is a renewal of 11/1129M which was approved in June 2011. This application was originally approved in June 1989 and has been renewed a number of times since then to keep open the opportunity for Orbit Developments to provide these extra parking spaces should they consider there is a need in the future.
The site is presently used for parking by tenants of Queens Court and the car deck will provide 29 upper and lower ground car parking spaces, as well as space for a refuse store to be used by Queens Court.
