Leisure Centre to open its doors

Wilmslow Leisure Centre will be opening its doors to members of the public on Sunday, 27th July, so they can take part in a number of activities to celebrate the new Everybody Sport and Recreation Trust.

The leisure centre is welcoming those wanting to find out more about the facilities and services on offer to join them all day from 9am to 6pm.

There is also fun to be had for the whole family with Jujitsu and Tae Kwando demonstrations, badminton and squash taster sessions, a little Superstars 5 a side mini tournament, cricket match and more.

Keith Burgess, Facility Manager at Wilmslow Leisure Centre commented, "Our open day this July is an opportunity for the people of Wilmslow to see how they can make positive healthy changes to their lives with Everybody Leisure.

"We have made a number of improvements recently and would like to invite those who are not already accessing the centre and existing members to come and take a tour."

Wilmslow provides leisure services 7 days a week and attendees will be introduced to the new group fitness programme including new classes such as Piloxing and CXWorx and upcoming swim fit circuits. Visitors will also be able to take a tour of the new refurbished squash courts and see the new inflatable splash time sessions.

Everybody Leisure is the new charitable trust established to run leisure services in the Cheshire East area, it operates the 15 leisure facilities in the Cheshire East area as well as leisure development and outreach programmes.
