Meet at Wilmslow Railway Station at 1830 and walk from Wilmslow up the River Bollin then cross over to the Bull's Head at Mottram St Andrews. After a supper in the pub, you will start winding our way back across Alderley Edge and then either catch the train back to Wilmslow or complete the journey on foot. The total distance is around 7 - 8 miles on mostly flat but uneven ground on public footpaths.
They hope to be walking by the light of the moon without the use of torches however you will need to bring a torch in case it is required. You will need to bring money, warm and waterproof clothing as well as a reflective belt or similar for the short distance we will be travelling on the roads.
