Ian Sanderson will be giving a talk about the work of Afrinspire, in Uganda who Wilmslow Wells have partnered with on a number of projects including the building of water tanks.
Prior to the building of these tanks, the nearest water for many community members was a borehole four miles away. Now, instead of queuing daily to bring buckets of water back to their home, people can store up to 7000 litres in each tank, enough to ensure a safe and reliable supply for six families throughout the dry season.
