Puzzle Piece Opera: Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte

Tuesday, 29th Jul, 2014 7:30pm

Puzzle Piece Opera is a student led opera company made up of undergraduate vocal and keyboard students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. They produce, direct and perform popular operas in their original language, condensed into 50 minute productions.

The summer 2014 production from Puzzle Piece is Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, a comic story of love and jealousy. This modern adaption promises to entertain and amuse whilst proving that Da Ponte's theme of 'All's fair in love and war' is still as relevant today as in the 18th century.

The company are bringing their 2014 summer production, direct from the Blackheath Opera Festival, to Wilmslow to raise funds for The Mary Wood Trust, a charity which supports Nyakabungo Girls Secondary School (NGSS) and Ruth Memorial Nursery School (RMNS), both in South West Uganda.

More information about the work of the charity can be found at www.marywoodtrust4uganda.org.

Tickets for this production can be obtained from Clare Ramsden on 01625 531233 or on the door at the price of £10 (£7.50 for concessions).
