5   Sunglasses for children

Recently bought my son some fabulous sunglasses from Graham. They were far less expensive than I had imagined "real" ones would be.

They were from an extensive range of junior sunglasses and will protect his eyes far better than the "cheap" pairs I had bought him previously.

If I had realised what a great free repair service that they offered I would have got the children's sunglasses there years ago.

So, happy son and happy mum, result.

5   Excellent Service

Having visited all the other opticians in Wilmslow to ask if someone could look at my daughter's eye, I found James Doyle was the only one willing to help on the spot. Graham and his colleagues dealt extremely well with a distressed child and were knowledgeable and very understanding. I received a phone call the next day to see how my daughter was doing following her visit to the Eye Hospital and cannot fault their service. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

5   What a Gem of an Optician

I never know when I have found a real gem, if I should shout it from the rooftops, or keep it to myself.

Well, here goes, James Doyle's Opticians in Wilmslow is one of those gems.

I have been a patient and customer now for more years than I care to remember, as have all my close family. In that time we have always experienced eye care of the highest standard and service levels that the big high street names can only dream about.

My mothers eyesight was saved several years ago, as a result of the very thorough tests that were performed by Graham and his team, which is something I will always be grateful for.

Alongside this level of medical expertise, the choice of glasses that are on offer is enormous, from the latest Designer brands, to the more traditional frames.

Last year, on advice, I invested in some new sunglasses by Maui Jim, not the most expensive brand by any means, but the best sunglasses I have ever owned.

If you are looking for a local optician, you could not find a better one anywhere, so I hope that the next time I need an appointment I can still get in, otherwise I will wish I had kept quiet about this Optical Gem.
